Recently my daughter and I had the experience of buying a new Jetta Sports Wagon TDI from your dealership. It was a very pleasant experience. Tony Brown was our sales representative. He was always available for our "many" questions and test drives. He was always polite, professional and a good representative of your company. He made the deal.
We also dealt with Wallace Gauthier for the financial part of the sale. He explained everything clearly and was not pushy. He made it a pleasant experience.

Most people take the time to write when they have a complaint. I however would like to write to you today to compliment and rave about one your Service advisors. His name is Brandon Boldon .
Never in my years of dealing with service advisors have I come across an advisor like Brandon who is so dedicated to his job, so efficient and one that understands what customer service is all about. Our family currently has a Mercedes, Volvo, Toyota, 2 Hondas and 2 Jettas. Out of all of our cars, I dread when I have to bring all but the Jettas into the shop for service. I have never gotten my car out on time, a few times the cars have to go back into the shop for the same issue and it is always a hassle even with the option of a loaner car. Never once have I had to bring one of my daughter’s Jettas back into the shop. The cars are always ready when promised. Brandon makes sure the job is done to his satisfaction and therefore I never have to question any of the work being done.
You have a star employee which is hard to find. He is certainly an example of what you would want the rest of your employees to be like.
I joke with Brandon all the time and tell him that I would have to sell my cars if he leaves Volkswagen. WE are following him wherever he goes since he makes our lives so simple when our cars are at Boardwalk. But, I am sure that won’t happen. I see him being with your company for a good long while.

Let me start off by saying I like I think most people equate buying a car with going to the dentist. It’s not something you enjoy doing but rather something you have to do.
I had an experience yesterday with two area VW dealerships. One was like going to the dentist. The other was like going shopping and finding what you want on sale. The shopping trip was at Boardwalk VW in Richardson and my salesperson was Jeremy Heuss. (I won’t tell you where the other trip to the dentist (aka painful car dealer world was- but you get my point.)
This is my 4th time to buy a VOLKSWAGON JETTA- from my very first car that my dad got me in college to now my family car that I will drive my own child around, I am a Jetta person. I think they are the best car! They have all the bells and whistles, and again you feel like you got something on sale instead of paying an outrageous price.
I knew exactly what car I wanted and I knew what I wanted to pay for that car. Boardwalk VW and Jeremy and the New Car Manager got me exactly what I wanted without any games. They were quick to just get me the deal!
I think the going back and forth and car deal negotiations is a silly and annoying game that many in the car business like to play. I appreciate that Jeremy and Darren made it a pleasant experience.
I drove home thinking “wow that was easy!” I will definitely recommend the NEW CAR SALES STAFF and BOARDWALK VW RICHARDSON (the one on CentralJ-) to any of my family, friends, and co-workers.

I just want to pass on to you some kudos for your employee, Kurt Lawrence. This past weekend my husband & I purchased an '09 VW New Beetle. We had looked at several models of VW's as well as Toyotas. I had long wanted a Beetle but just wasn't sure. Kurt was so helpful and patient in answering our questions and by following up with phone calls. We certainly did not have that experience with Toyota.
Kurt wanted to make sure we got the car and color we wanted at the price we could afford. It was extremely helpful to be able to drive a couple of the cars (Jetta & Beetle) over night to compare and that, ultimately, was what enabled us both to make the final decision on the heave blue Beetle. I love my new car!
Since I am a college professor, I know how much it means to me to have students come back to me and thank me for what I have done, so I wanted to make sure Kurt is acknowledged for his hard work and excellent salesmanship. I will say that we never felt pressured or like we were being "sold" something. That would have completely turned me off and would have sent my business elsewhere. But Kurt was persistent in a good way and made us feel valued - a sure key to good business.

It is important in today’s business climate to communicate customer experiences in order to gauge the way a company is meeting customer expectations. Many times, customers will write letters of complaints and forget to acknowledge positive experiences. The good news is that this letter is a compliment on my personal experience with Boardwalk Volkswagen located in Richardson, Texas.
I have been a Honda car owner for the last 12 years and wanted to try something new. I was contacted by Jeremy Heuss (Certified Sales Consultant) to test drive the Jetta and Passat. I was a little apprehensive about going outside of my paradigm that Honda’s were the only great car to have. However, I arrived at Boardwalk Volkswagen at 4:30 pm on 3/28/09 with no assumptions that I would purchase or lease that very day. Josef greeted me at the entrance and he began to lead the way in the experience at Boardwalk Volkswagen. Jeremy Heuss came and we began discussing my interest in cars to test drive.
Jeremy Heuss had excellent charisma, communication skills, and thoroughly knew his product…Volkswagen. I enjoyed every minute of my experience driving the Jetta and Passat and speaking with Jeremy. Not to mention that both of these cars manufactured with remarkable value.
The experience did not stop with Jeremy Heuss. His supervisor, Rick Bayon worked my financing fair and spent time getting to know me as a customer. I was completely impressed with the way they handled my options on car purchase or lease. They outlined on the Jetta and Passat the terms for purchase or lease and all variables going in. Often people have an emotional attachment to their car; I felt completely at ease with trading in my 9-year-old Honda. Their main finance person, John Shipley was also great to work with. He was efficient and to the point.
I cannot restate as much as necessary that the experience at Boardwalk Volkswagen was extremely comfortable and natural as if I was doing business among friends. This made the entire process “hands-down” incredible.
Volkswagen Jetta and Passat. I did not get a “Wow” factor from Honda, but I definitely did from Volkswagen.
I work in a multinational corporation that is a leader in its market of products. I work in Sales Operations with 120 Sales Consultants countrywide. I have also worked in Supply Chain on the global production of these products. To put my professional experience to the customer experience of Boardwalk Volkswagen, I would recommend that Corporate Volkswagen take a strategic look at Boardwalk Volkswagen’s impressive business, reward them, and use them as an example for other dealerships.
The complete synopsis of this letter is that Volkswagen has not only won a new customer through Boardwalk Volkswagen, but possibly a lifelong customer because of them.

We just bought a used car from your dealership. A 2006 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. Our Salesman was Kevin. I am writing you in regards to Kevin. My husband and I are from Tyler. We have both bought many cars in Tyler and have always gotten the run around. In the past a car deal took more then five hours. When we arrived we where ready for a long exhausting day of the same old run around. To our surprise this was the best experience either of us has ever had buying a car. Thanks to Kevin. He was more than nice helping us find the car we where looking for. He made us feel he was on our side. That he was going to work hard to get us the best deal. In my past experience the salesman has always worked to make the most money. My In-laws where with us and they enjoyed Kevin so much they are looking at buying a car from him. I promise you that as long as Kevin is employed at your dealership we will continue to buy cars from you.. We buy lots of cars because we have a courier business. I think we where only there about three hours and because of the pleasant experience it seemed like no time at all. You have a star employee in Kevin. Throughout the entire purchase process, Mr. Heuss maintained a dedication to customer service I have rarely seen in any industry. He was prompt, polite, professional, and most importantly, seemed genuinely concerned with ensuring my satisfaction. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Of course getting something over the Internet is always strange and you wonder if what you see is what your going to get or is it what you really want because it's not tangible but, Kurt made this process easy.

He was most professional in his manner and very courteous in handling this matter. He kept me informed of what was happening on a timely basis. In this age of computers and outsourcing of customer service personnel, it was very refreshing to deal with a real professional!

I wanted to take the time to let you know what an outstanding job Kurt Lawrence did in assisting me on my recent purchase of my 2008 VW R32.
I had been watching this car online for over a month, after initially enquiring about it when you first got it in. I was really upside down on my old vehicle and unfortunately no deal could be made at the time.
This week I checked and the R32 was still there so I contacted Kurt again to see if anything could be worked out. Kurt was awesome. He really went above and beyond to see if a deal could be made, answered all of the questions I had on the car itself, and even e mailed me at
8 in the evening to respond to a question I had. I was working on a budget and Kurt really pulled out all of the stops to make something happen on this deal.
When I came in on Saturday to test drive the car Kurt already had it in the detail department to make sure it looked its very best, he was super friendly, and allowed me to really stretch the legs on the R32 on the test drive. He is extremely knowledgeable and made the car feel like my car. Needless to say the deal got done.
Kurt is unlike any car dealer employee I have ever dealt with, and he is a tremendous asset to your dealership. I want to thank him and you for making this deal happen, and I will not hesitate to recommend your dealership to anyone I know who is looking for a car.

I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know what a great salesman you have in Jeremy Heuss.
As you know, I came in last Wednesday night to see what was available in the Pre-Loved inventory. Having just come off my accident I really wanted to get back into a Jetta, with little or no payments (having just paid mine off in February), and get back to normal. The accident really shook me and as I told you, I truly think my car saved my life.
I met with Jeremy and from the beginning he was nothing short of professional. He listened to my accident story, bless his heart, he was interested in my needs, and not once did he push me to buy outside my comfort level. Now, maybe in sales that is how one gets an add-on sale, or more commission, but this is one of the many reasons I love Boardwalk. No pressure! I know Jeremy will go far in yall's business with his great attitude, personality and professionalism.
This is my second Pre-Loved purchase from Boardwalk and I doubt it will be my last. As you are also aware, I adore (and that is no exaggeration) my service adviser, Billy Cooper. He is the best in the business and an all around good man. I know I will be treated well when the time comes to service my "new" car.

Just wanted you to know that my daughter Katye purchased a vehicle from you guys two weeks ago. Kevin Kline was the salesperson that helped her and he was just great. He listened closely to her requests and was very patient with her. I came along as support, this was her first experience in purchsing a vehicle. You should be very proud of your staff and how they handle the customer.
Tony Luu also was very good to explain the financial process with her, I think he did a great job of helping her understand interest rates and the different options that she had.
It was also very encouraging and kind for Kevin to do follow up calls to be sure everything was going as expected.
